Maybe as a testament to how easy the process is, we haven’t had too many questions asked yet – frequent or otherwise!

How much of the site is updateable?
Basically all of the content. We design each site according to your tastes, and once this is agreed and coded, the design is more or less fixed, so not editable. Some images will be part of the design, and not updateable, but any content images are.
Is there a limit to the amount of content?
In theory, no. In practice, if a site is going to have a huge amount of content, you may run into usability and navigation design issues that may need specialist consideration. If you are not sure – give us a call!
What type of content can we upload/edit?
Text, Images (JPEG or GIF format) and Documents (DOC of PDF)
Do I need to know how to resize images?
No! – Our ‘Smart’ Image uploader will automatically size and optimise images to slot straight into the design.
What about Flash?
Flash can be included in the initial design template, but can’t be updated via the Content Management system – Flash adds another layer of complexity and unpredictability, which makes this difficult to administer. If your site requires Flash, please contact us for a bespoke solution.
Do the sites conform to web standards?
Yes – our sites validate to W3C strict XHTML standards. We also test each individual design across all major browsers and operating systems.
Can Binamic Express be used for e-commerce?
Yes! Binamic Express has an e-commerce ‘bolt on’ with impressive functionality. Store management - products, pricing, shipping, discounts, customer accounts etc - is a very straightforward, promoting effective selling on-line
Can I have email addresses?
Yes – up to 5 email addresses are included, which we will set up for you when we build the site. Additional email addresses are available on request.
